So here I am once again. Emerging from the trenches of life. Brimming with almost-stories but sadly giving them up to the realms of a "what were they again?" a result of a failed bridging between my cerebral cortex..the lovely grey matter...and the actual execution of my motor behaviour. After giving my brain some thought..the brain doin a self check.I think it is particularly sluggish in my motor cortex... here i go here i go arts chick attempting some science Lit.
Just a disclaimer... this is purely self-indulgent.
So after some Scrutiny...I realised that my entire Primary Motor Cortex (M1) which is located in the BA4 of the human brain is probably the least toned and least sexy feature underneath ma skull.
I hear the whisperings: What in the world iS M1 located in the BA4 ?
*Gasp* Sweetheart..How can you not already know?
It is but Only the part of the brain that generates impulses that controls the execution of movement.
pause.
..some dude with really long hair needs to hang a giant jigsaw puzzle over my head.
The Chairlady's assistant is taking over my room. Did i tell not tell you!?
I've quit my job for a scandalous adventure ( that does Not include a ready job in the garage). So, If you get candy canes for Christmas..or worse half a cane...you know why. I'm not sure where i'm heading yet, humanly a lil doused with fear and constant pursual from the folks about sending out hundreds of resumes, but spirtually im just going, Oh HELp Me Lord. where else will i go but where u swing me to;) Jive with Jesus.
Anyway I'm looking forward to a month of stinging, reading reading reading, resume typing & designing, hanging out with the O level kids and goin berserk Together! I'm free for English n Lit lessons btw. And did i mention stinging? yes. LOvely.
Back to matters of the mind.
So, my Primary Motor Cortex...its mouldy.I need a spritz of Mr Muscle-mould killa.
But going right down to the nitty grittys...
This is where its really pout-worthy
My Dorsolateral Prefrontal Cortex, which decides which voluntary movements to make according to higher-order instructions, rules, and self-generated thoughts. I'm not quite sure but i have a gut feel that this is the same or in the same region as the BA6 which is anterior to the BA4 region.
Brain break:
if you're wondering what is BA4 and 6? its Brodmann(some fly dude that thought of it and put his name there) Area 4 & 6 respectively.
So BA6 ...This large area of the frontal cortex is believed to play a role in the planning of complex, coordinated movements. ARGHH ...so that's why i take a whole season of 'days of our lives' to get those dance steps and coordination-saturated activities.. Swimming, drums, riding the bike, driving on a manual...it was the BA6 all along. Well in specifics its the Supplementary Motor Area (SMA) which is all an undeveloped pulp for me. There shd be a brain Gym... its like toning target muscle groups in your body ..i need to whoop my entire BA4&6 into shape...
The potent phenomenon- the Power of the mind.
Work out and nip anything that will weaken that 'thought-idea-plan-action' process
Strengthen the mind to speak into existence and work into perfection.A each juncture, you need the Holy Spirit to act like a lubricant working out and strengthening the adhesion between you, Your maker, and what you're meant to do. You also need the electric charges from the Holy Spirit like the charges in neuron activity sparking off strategies and concepts only you can grapple with and sustain.
Top that with the Power of perception- a more psychological study of the power of our thoughts that is intrinsically linked to sociological and emotional factors- and honey , u're pretty much set for the world. Even without enrolling into The School of Hardknocks(one who's learned through life's tumultuous lessons), you can still have the will and mind of one who's been through it all and survived;)
Hail the new Anti Victim and ANti Negativity Junkie.
The boo hoos of life you're so passe!
